Solar Industries, Inc., a leading building products manufacturer, is seeking a motivated, service oriented professional to support sales and to provide outstanding customer service at our Sacramento call center. In this role you will assist customers as they purchase skylights and wardrobe closet doors on a wholesale level. In 1976 our company was founded in Tucson, Arizona. We currently have seven distribution centers throughout the West and are one of the industry leaders in residential and commercial skylights.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing customer service over multiple phone lines
• Taking and entering orders
• Communicating with customers on order status and changes in the production schedule
• Preparing quotes and establishing & maintaining follow up

• Processing credit card payments and making on-line check deposits
• Identifying and resolving customer satisfaction issues
• Establishing and maintaining effective team relationships with all support departments
• Following all company policies and procedures
• Continuously improving and maintaining in-depth product knowledge
• Guiding customers to make the best product choices by sharing expertise
• Working with outside sales representatives to ensure customer satisfaction

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED required
• At least 2 years of customer service experience including inside sales
• Experience at resolving customer satisfaction issues
• Ability to perform multiple tasks and projects
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
• Familiarity with Adobe editing
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic math skills

Once confirmed, an on-line video interview will take place. For potential hiring, an additional interview at our Sacramento office will be scheduled.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
