Customer Service Representative

Home Medical Equipment

$19.00-$21.50+/hr. (DOE)

Monday-Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm

Temp to Hire!

What the position offers:
  • 80 hrs. of PTO and 10 paid holidays once hired on permanently
  • Benefits offered after 30 days of being hired

What you’ll be doing:
  • Answering incoming calls from customers and providing patient and friendly support
  • Following up on Medicare and insurance billing paperwork and requests
  • Focusing on building a long-term relationship with the customer by creatively solving problems while presenting a pleasant and supportive demeanor
  • Working closely with our vendor partners to ensure that the appropriate equipment is ordered and delivered in a timely manner
  • Diagnosing technical challenges and redirecting the call to appropriate support staff
  • Providing timely, accurate, and friendly communications via phone, email, and live online chat
  • Being an advocate for our customers while making good business decisions
  • Reports to Director of Customer Service
Who we’re looking for:
  • MUST HAVE experience with DME (Durable Medical Equipment) i.e. scooters, wheelchairs, & other mobility equipment
  • Strong job tenure in past customer service positions
  • 1-2 years phone customer service experience; e-commerce experience a plus
  • Must have wired internet connection, not Wi-Fi. Must have a quiet, dedicated workspace where you can successfully work
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Excellent phone and written communication skills
  • Experience and comfort in navigating the internet
  • Ability to adapt well to change and multi-task effectively
  • Proficiency in assimilating information quickly
  • Ability to communicate efficiently and clearly with customers, verbally or in writing
  • Ability to multitask while providing exceptional customer service, support, and responsiveness
