The Work Itself

  • You’ll work closely with our Ally GAP and vehicle service contract holders, dealers, and financial institutions to assist them with policy and claim questions and concerns whether they contact us by phone, email, or chat. Then you will need to provide them with a resolution. Not to worry, we will train you how to do that.
  • Document all conversation accurately and clearly, and concisely.
  • Go the extra mile to engage the customer to achieve total customer satisfaction.
  • Follow all internal, state and UDAAP guidelines, we’ll train you on all those too.
  • Focus on quality of the work you do.
  • This is an entry level role.
  • We have great team members who will provide you with a lot of support.

The Skills You Bring

  • We’re all about teaching - the longer you work with us, the longer your list of skills will get. That said, there are a few skills that will help you get off to a quicker start:
  • Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in business or other related fields is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the caller on the phone, through email or chat to acquire pertinent information.
  • Good listening, phone and writing skills.
  • Must be reliable and punctual, can’t be late or miss work when you are scheduled to be there.
  • Ability to follow procedures, multitask and make quick decisions.
  • Type 40 WPM and know how to use Microsoft Office Programs.
  • Automotive mechanical knowledge and bi-lingual skills (Spanish or French) a plus but not required.
  • Be an independent worker because you are working from home (hybrid schedule).
  • Must have a quiet workspace to conduct business and live in a location that can leverage an existing high-speed internet service.
  • Minimum download speed 10 MB/s, preferred download speed 25 MB/s.
