Immediate opening for Sign Fabricator!!!

Our sign shop is expanding and you have the opportunity to grow with us!

AGC Signs, a family-owned custom sign manufacturer and installer, is seeking a Sign Fabricator to join our team immediately. We are a busy full-service sign shop located close to Uptown with a focus in commercial signage. Our main projects consist of illuminated channel letters, light boxes, perforated window graphics, and much more!

As a Sign Fabricator, you will be responsible for creating high-quality signs and displays for a variety of clients. All of our work is schedule driven and our ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be able to manage time and multiple priorities effectively while working in a highly collaborative environment. The ability to focus on the task at hand and follow directions while working with others is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret design specifications to determine materials needed and methods required to fabricate the sign.
• Build and assemble sign components using materials such as aluminum, acrylic, and vinyl.
• Operate and maintain various fabrication equipment such as hand and power tools, saws, metal benders, and CNC router to cut and shape metal and acrylic sheets into complex shapes and frames while following safety guidelines.
• Use the commercial printer, vinyl plotter, industrial cold roll laminator and masking tapes for creating applicable vinyl graphics and digital prints.
• Install vinyl graphics, digital prints, and perforated window graphics to a variety of surfaces using squeegees and sealants.
• Wire LED modules to power supplies for illuminating signs.
• Troubleshoot and problem solve during the fabrication and production process.
• Ensure all signs are produced to the AGC Signs quality standards and meet customer specifications.
• Participate in installing signs when required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid drivers license.
• 1 year experience working in the sign or commercial printing industry.
• Knowledge of basic electrical wiring.
• Ability to use various fabrication tools and machines.
• High attention to detail
• Dependable
• Able to stand for extensive periods of time, can lift 50+ pounds, install signs at various heights, and work under tight deadlines.
• Experience in operating a CNC machine is a plus.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

• Weekend availability
