Position : Custodian / Janitorial

Full-time position available in Walton, New York

Responsibilities: Provides Janitorial services to keep the building area clean, orderly and safe. Maintain the health, welfare and safety of the individuals.

Job Duties:

• Ensure safety of everyone in the building.
• Maintain floor areas using hand and power equipment including: sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing, buffing, stripping, sealing, rug cleaning and shampooing..
• Perform cleaning functions to include: bathrooms, windows, walls, woodwork, ceilings, curtains, blinds, and furniture.
• Maintain a monthly inventory and requisition of needed supplies.
• Keep exists and walkways cleared of snow while on shift.
  

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent or one year prior experience.
• Innovative problem solving skills and drive to get things done.
• Ability to prioritize workload and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs.
