Job description
The Cultivation Lead (Flower)is responsible for proper leadership of a team of 5-7 Cultivation Technicians ensuring proper plant health. The Cultivation Lead performs their duties in compliance with the company policy, laws and rules governed by the State. This position reports directly to the Cultivation Manager.
- Lead and manage a team of 5-7 team members including: punctuality, attendance, records, discipline, performance reviews, and training
- Tracking team members metrics for pace and quality of work, ensuring that the team is doing the work that is assigned to them
- Divide and direct the team as necessary to ensure all tasks are accomplished
- Perform monthly skill reviews of all team members
- Constant improvement of the team's efficiency and performance in all cultivation tasks
- Report on daily activities to the section lead
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to exercise sound judgement and take initiative
- General understanding of lean practices and implementation
