The Vinton County Health Department is seeking qualified candidates for a

Creating Healthy Communities Grant Coordinator

Requirements include:

Bachelor’s degree in public health, health administration or related field or a minimum of 2 years’ experience in public health.

Demonstrated history in organizing and building coalitions between a wide range of stakeholders and diverse community members.

Understanding of the various components of public health systems, including application of evidence-based practices in community programs that can improve health outcomes.

Strong history of program design/development and implementation

Grant writing and reporting experience.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.

Literacy in computer software including Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

GIS software skill a plus.

Quality Improvement and Performance Management knowledge a plus.

Possession of a valid driver's license with ongoing proof of state mandated auto insurance.

Position is grant funded.

Salary commensurate with experience. EOE
