As Corporate Controller, you will manage Experlogix’s global Finance team to oversee the monthly close process, maintain financial accounting accuracy, manage working capital, implement internal controls, and maintain financial compliance. You will work directly with CFO and the broader Experlogix Leadership Team to implement processes and generate insights that drive business performance. Responsibilities:

  • Mentor, coach and lead the finance and accounting team
  • Oversee Month end close process
  • Ensure accuracy of accounting by reviewing reconciliations and entries
  • Prepare the monthly financial statements
  • Improve internal processes for scalability for the company
  • Provide support and information to management for special requests
  • Evaluate all reports and maintain financial accuracy for all processes, analyze business trends and provide required explanations
  • Manage all aspects of the cash and working capital needs for the organization
  • Monitor all activities and ensure compliance to all corporate standards
  • Evaluate all transactions according to accounting procedures
  • Manage independent accountant relationship for services related to financial statements and tax returns
  • Manage financial systems integration for any businesses acquired through M&A
  • Responsible for banking and lending relationships


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of accounting experience with 3+ years experience running an accounting team
  • Undergraduate or graduate Accounting degree
  • International, global experience a plus
  • Experience in the software industry preferred
  • Demonstrated experience supporting the budget planning process
  • Advanced skills in Excel (Pivot tables, Vlookup, index/match)
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize daily workload and meet multiple deadlines
  • Ability to collect and analyze information, problem solve, and make decisions and recommendations based on findings
  • Working knowledge of GAAP principles and how to apply them to routine and complex accounting tasks
  • Previous experience with accounting software preferably Microsoft Business Central or Dynamics NAV
  • Experience managing international tax and accounting compliance is strongly preferred
  • CPA or similar designation is strongly preferred
