Posting Summary
The Coordinator of Community Engagement at the Women & Gender Equity Center (WAGE Center) is responsible for building connections across UVM communities and providing student support. The Coordinator of Community Engagement is also responsible for leading promotional and outreach efforts to represent the work of the WAGE Center. The Coordinator of Community Engagement assists and participates in any relevant campus and community efforts to represent the Center; the Division of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion; and the University of Vermont.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree in Women and Gender Studies, Education, Psychology, Public Health, Social Work, or a related field and two years of related experience. Demonstrated knowledge and experience working in the areas of women/gender studies, social justice, and a collaborative multicultural environment, through a lens of the intersections of identities and systemic oppressions. Prior experience working with college students within a higher education setting preferred. Evidence of strong organizational and oral/written communication skills, as well as demonstrated proficiency in digital and print design. A willingness and ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
