We are looking for a Construction Superintendent to assist us in the oversight of current and upcoming construction projects. We need a deadline-driven professional to oversee our construction projects and to act as the link between various project parties. This person will lead and manage the on-site construction team, and oversee all work on site. The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for orderliness on site and ensure compliance with safety regulations. They will ensure quality standards are met, and all equipment and materials are available on site at all times. They will liaise with inspection authorities regarding approvals.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Gantt chart software and Microsoft Office with strong written and verbal communication skills. Qualified candidates must also be highly organized and efficient at completing tasks, such as collecting bids, and verifying work is done to our high level of standards.

To ensure success they should complete projects on time and within budget, and never compromise on quality. Top candidates will be strong leaders, pro-active and perform well under pressure.

Attention to detail, a mathematical mindset, and the ability to work autonomously are key to being successful in this position.

The project manager will likely manage several construction projects at once and may be asked to commute to job sites in Bowling Green & Owensboro area; as well as, but not limited to, Nashville.

Previous project management experience, preferably 2+ years, is required.
Smartsheets certification is a plus.

Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or related field a plus
Knowledge of car wash infrastructure or commercial buildings a plus

5+ years experience as a Construction Superintendent.
Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel.
Proficient with scheduling software, and CAE and CAD applications.
Proficient with taking and uploading digital photographs.
Ability to lift 40 pounds and to operate heavy equipment.
Ability to interpret and build according to drawings, specifications and other documents.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Outstanding organizational skills.
