We are looking for a tenured
Controller to join our Columbus Team! The ideal candidate will be able to plan, direct and supervise the corporation’s financial affairs to include financial reporting, tax compliance, cost accounting and business planning. This candidate should have a desire to eventually be our CFO.
(This candidate will be required to work in person).
We believe success in this position requires someone with strong accounting and financial skills, can communicate professionally, is organized, manage their time effectively, and have excellent attention to detail.
What You Will Do
- Manages all aspects of entering financial information into the accounting system.
- Remotely deposit cash receipts on a daily basis.
- Reconcile all bank accounts on a daily basis.
- Reconcile all credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Exercise independent judgement over accounts payable process including determining available cash to pay bills and process payments to vendors.
- Perform monthly close tasks as assigned by the President.
- Administer the company 401k program.
- Maintain all corporate policies relating to accounting matters.
- Collect and analyze corporate financial data to provide management with internal reports.
- Provide special reporting and analysis of financial information to management.
- Manage accounting and administrative staff that reports directly to the President which includes providing specific job duties and direction, monitoring performance of job duties and providing evaluations.
- Provide back up support to the HR Manager.
- Participate in weekly level 10’s and the EOS process.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the President.
About You
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- High degree of integrity
- Extremely well organized
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook, Excel and Microsoft Word.
