Mid-Senior Construction Manager

  • Anticipated duration: 18 months

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associated degree in technical field
  • Minimum 10 years relevant work experience

Preferred Certifications:

  • Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) in Indiana
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with recognized accredited program (ABET)
  • Industrial construction experience, preferably 10 years

Job Description:

  • Coordinate multiple contractors in an operating facility to prevent conflicts and inefficiencies.
  • Monitor work site to maintain safety compliance.
  • Monitor work activities for compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Maintain regular communications and coordination with site personnel and activities.
  • Experience of planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives as specified by project managers.
  • Applies comprehensive knowledge to act independently while providing guidance and training to others on using clear and effective verbal communications skills to express ideas, request actions and formulate plans or policies.
  • Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to negotiate independently while providing guidance and training to others on how to help the organization by obtaining consensus between two or more internal or external parties who may have different interests.
  • Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to work independently while providing guidance and training to others on planning, organizing, prioritizing, and overseeing activities to efficiently meet business objectives.
  • Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to work independently while providing guidance and training to others on developing appropriate plans or performing necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements.
  • Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to work independently while providing guidance and training to others on developing, monitoring, interpreting, and understanding policies and procedures, while making sure they match organizational strategies and objectives.
  • Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to work independently on costing, budgeting and finance tasks while providing guidance and training to others.
  • Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to work independently while guiding and training others on managing projects and/or programs within desired cost, time, and quality parameters.
  • Works independently and provides guidance and training to others on analyzing data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making.
  • Able to access multi-level process structures including climbing ladders and stairs.
  • Lift and transport items up to 25 pounds.
  • Able to stand and/or walk up to 6 hours per day.
  • Travel is required, but highly varied based on project needs.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
