Job description

DBH is currently looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide support and assistance to the Operations Manager and Chief Executive Officer.

Responsibilities:
  • Create a positive customer service environment.
  • Maintain, upload and update schedules for new builds and renovation projects in BuilderTrend.
  • Communicate with Construction Trade Partners.
  • Schedule inspections with municipalities.
  • Manage transaction assignments in an organized and competent manner.
  • Complete necessary paperwork to ensure build schedules go smoothly.
  • Track and report pending and upcoming deadlines and contingencies on a routine basis to ensure compliance.

Skills:
  • Working knowledge of office procedures and administration.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy in preparing and entering information.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Effective verbal, written and listening communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Macbook, and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while also remaining customer service-focused with walk-ins to the office.
  • Self-motivated and resourceful, with the ability to multi-task.
  • Demonstrate a sound work ethic.
  • Exercise discretion in handling personnel matters and sensitive information.
  • Attention to detail.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position.
  • High School Diploma or higher degree.
  • General background/understanding of real estate transaction paperwork helpful.
