The Airframes, Structures & Radars, and Materials (ASM) leads in the mechanical hardware design, development, and production of weapons systems. ASM uses state-of-the-art tools, processes, and technology, with capabilities encompassing a broad range of technical disciplines, including product engineering, manufacturing, technical services, materials engineering, analysis and test, rapid hardware development/builds and configuration and data management documentation.

Within ASM, the Configuration and Data Management (CDM) organization is responsible for ensuring our products are under configuration control and delivered on time. The CDM Organization consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Disciplines in the CDM organization participate in the life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. The CDM organization is comprised of Effector CM (ECM), Data Management (DM/DEX), Software Configuration Management (SWCM), and Sensor CM (SCM).

The Sensor CM (SCM) Department is looking for a Sensor Configuration Analyst for the Traceability team.

This position is a hybrid role, requiring regular work onsite in Andover, MA, while allowing for some work as remote/telecommuter.

Responsibilities to anticipate:

• Load, verify, and analyze traceability data (serial numbers, date, and lot codes, etc.) for As-Built product configurations, comprised of RTX-manufactured and supplier-delivered hardware/components.

• Review manufacturing process sheets to verify configuration data requirements.

• Scan documents for record retention.

• Support multiple programs and collaborate effectively with the Operations, Quality, and Engineering groups.

• Create monthly metrics/activity reports.

• Support special assignments from Area Lead.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree OR in absence of a degree, 4 years of professional experience is required.

• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Power Point, Word, Excel) and Adobe.

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Value:

• Knowledge of Configuration Management processes

• Prior experience supporting a manufacturing process, area, or program.

• General knowledge of hardware components, such as those used on circuit card assemblies.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Self-Starter, willing to learn new tools and work proactively with a variety of technical and non-technical disciplines.

• Six Sigma certification
