Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated, creative, customer focused leader to join our team as Conference Services Manager. To be successful in this role, this individual must be self-motivated, demonstrate a thorough knowledge of event execution, food and beverage and space optimization to drive conference revenue.. This individual will work closely with the catering and banquets team with a hands-on approach providing exceptional support and customer service to hotel and conference center guests and meeting planners.

Your role:
- Works with clients to assist them in the planning of events, guiding their decisions and guiding the hotel/resort team on how to execute the plan
- Is responsible for the achievement of budgeted banquet revenue inclusive of food, beverage, room rental, audio visual and misc. revenue.
- Works closely with leadership to ensure group food and beverage contribution is in alignment with budgeted expectations
- Participates in daily, weekly, and monthly meetings as required.
- Works with the Banquet Manager to ensure all space is set up as required.
- Ensures conference guests get proper support and setup of all technology needs.
- Working directly with vendors and department Business Operations Manager on purchases.
- Completes additional task that may be assigned by senior management.
- The ideal candidate should have min 2years of progressive experience in a quality mid to high-volume operation in a Full-Service hotel as a Conference Services Manager.
- Bachelor's degree a plus but not required
