Position location is flexible and may office from a branch in Winona, MN - Indianapolis, IN - Denton, TX or High Point, NC
Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm

OVERVIEW:
Working as Full-time Compliance Specialist, on the Contract Compliance team you will be a strategic link between Fastenal's Procurement, Supply Chain, Product Development, Av-Tech aerospace team, Quality & Engineering, Customers and Compliance Teams. Your main responsibility will be providing first level support to the Compliance Lead, sales teams and stakeholders responsible for the contractual obligations related to supply chain compliance, such as but not limited to Federal Flow Down Country of Origin clauses, CUI, ITAR, Global Regulations and special interest initiatives. Some key areas of the business you will interact with include operations, supply chain compliance, procurement, international, vendor development, sales, suppliers and more. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Generating periodic and ad hoc reports
o Supporting interdepartmental correspondence
o Enforcing company policy with regards to supply chain compliance
o Preparing compliance updates for quarterly business reviews
o Creating and enforcing workflow from time of RFP, Award and Implementation
o Using PeopleSoft, Internet, SmartSheets, PowerBI and Microsoft Office Suite regularly to bring efficiency to process

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and SmartSheets
o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
o Work independently and as a team
o Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
o Possess 1 year of Fastenal experience on the Supply Chain Compliance team
