The purpose of this job is to maintain the company’s self-insurance status in multiple states.

• Maintain the company’s self-insured status by monitoring the statutory requirements of each state, completing the annual re-application forms, and submitting them by the state deadline to avoid financial penalties
• Complete periodic quarterly and sub-annual assessment reports which determines the amount the company pays in assessments; ensure accurate reporting of payroll information to avoid paying more in assessments than required
• Produce monthly department reports to ensure the allocation of claim charges back to each location
• Create, maintain, and monitor preferred provider panels for all the company’s locations to ensure that each location has a valid panel posted for the treatment of work injuries
• Produce and distribute the 300-A reports to all locations to ensure OSHA compliance
• Assist with the annual insurance renewal by running needed reports and maintaining accurate property and tank schedules
• Provide direction and assistance to store personnel for the completion and reporting of losses and incidents
• Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
• Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
• Complete other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent certification required
• Associates degree in business or a related field preferred
• Minimum two years’ of related work experience preferred
