Community Relations Liaison

The Community Relations Liaison initiates positive customer relations, new patient acquisition initiatives, provides pertinent information to local referral sources, collaborates with physician and leadership team at MidSouth Pain and uses data to formulate a comprehensive development plan for growth in the communities around MidSouth Pain.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working knowledge of Centricity or similar Electronic Medical Record System to pull metrics for reporting.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.
  • Garners networking relationships with physicians, community health facilities, as well as office based practices, private practice, in group practices, in hospital settings, primary care, neurology, orthopedic and other specialties within defined geographic territories.
  • Builds relationships with physicians and hospitals, to increase patient referrals.
  • Grows profitable revenue and builds market shares within designated service areas.
  • Develops annual strategies alongside the practice administrator and community liaison team that generate new patient activity and create deeper relationships with referring physicians and other referring staff.
  • Lead strategies to build new patient acquisition efforts in Memphis, TN, Jackson, TN, Oxford, MS, Tupelo, MS, and Southaven, MS.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ Years of Healthcare Development/Sales Preferred.
  • Excellent typing/computer skills.
  • Knowledgeable in Centricity.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA laws.
  • Attendance at staff meetings and other meetings, as required.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Effective communication and leadership skills including strong verbal and written group presentation skills.
  • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in healthcare.
  • The employee must be computer literate, have a reliable car, a valid driver’s license, current car insurance, and a good driving record.
