What We’re Looking For:

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Own the fuel cell system commissioning planning, coordination, and execution
  • Interface with internal and external customers and partners
  • Represent the fuel cell system in bench and vehicle commissioning meetings
  • Ensure required commissioning equipment is available and meets requirements
  • Thoroughly and efficiently document issues and support root cause investigations
  • Support physical and electrical fuel cell system interface checks and debugging
  • Support fuel cell system integration test bench and vehicle safety checks
  • Support fuel cell system integration test bench and vehicle function checks
  • Responsible for commissioning instrumentation plan
  • Responsible for coordinating installation of commissioning instrumentation
  • Responsible for coordinating data acquisition
  • Support data analysis of issues
  • Collaborate with program management, manufacturing, design & development teams, purchasing, and partners to ensure on time sign-offs at program milestones and engineering gateways
You Have:
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Degree in Electrical, Controls, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering
  • Automotive Testing Experience
  • Experience with automotive software development, instrumentation, and calibration tools (Vector CANape, ETAS INCA, etc.)
  • Experience with automotive DAQ systems
  • Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, CAN FD, and Automotive Ethernet) and electrical architectures.
  • Troubleshooting experience with electromechanical systems ( CAN, LIN, LV, HV )
  • Experience developing and executing test plans
  • Good understanding of system/component design/development processes
  • Good communication and time management skills
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with fuel cell systems
  • Experience with calibration
  • Experience with vehicle testing
  • Experience with dyno testing
  • Experience with pumps, compressors, sensors
  • Experience with prototype and production vehicles
  • Experience with Class 8 Trucks
  • Experience in automotive applications regulatory requirements for U.S. and EU
  • Experience with functional safety and HARA
Candidates must have current German work authorization for working in the EU.
