Job Purpose:
Prepare and deliver local orders to customers as well as pick up items from local vendors
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in various warehouse tasks such as engraving tags, load testing, preparing various paperwork, and ensuring accurate documentation throughout all processes;
- Inspect and verify local delivery orders and load orders onto delivery vehicles;
- Make deliveries and pick up items from local vendors;
- Coordinate deliveries and pick ups with Shipping and Receiving Supervisor;
- Pull stock items for sales orders and stage orders for will call, local delivery, and commercial carrier pick-up;
- Load and unload trucks;
- Assist in shipping and receiving functions as required and properly maintain delivery vehicles;
- Assist in inventory and cycle counts when needed;
- Perform other functions as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Must hold a valid Class A CDL
- Must have one year of proven Class A driving experience
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug test, and DOT Clearinghouse check.
