Join the Maine Community Solar team as an Event Sales Specialist! We're seeking passionate individuals who care about our planet and want to help spread the word about our state-backed Community Solar program at various events, including trade shows, farmers markets, and more. As an Event Sales Specialist, you'll engage with event attendees, educate them about our program, and help them enroll in a free program that can save them money on their electric bill.

The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent communication skills, a sales mentality, and a passion for preserving the planet. Whether you're a seasoned sales professional or someone studying business or marketing, we want you to apply! We provide comprehensive training and all the marketing materials and support you need to succeed.

As an independent sales representative, you'll receive competitive pay, including per diem scheduling and a base pay per event, as well as bonus pay for each sale/enrollment you secure. You'll also receive incentives and giveaways to distribute to potential customers at no cost to you. Plus, we offer a proven sales process, order processing support, and reporting to help you track your success.
