The brand new Carmel Valley Coldstone is hiring a crew member to join our fun and positive team! We are looking for personable, outgoing, and team-oriented individuals who enjoy having fun at work. Job Responsibilities:

Lead the store opening and closing:

• For Opening
• Take ice cream out of freezer to the store front
• Place refrigerated fruit items to the front
• Collect all utncils and place in jars, etc
• Refill fillings as needed
• For Closing
• Propertly Clean the equipments and the store
• Properly store all food item including ice cream and fruits
• Take out trash to dumpster
• Dish washing
• Lock the doors

Serving Customers

• Have LOVE and passion for ice cream.
• Greeting and serving customers.
• Excellent menu and product knowledge.
• Accountable for the preparation of the guest’s order.
• Able to communicate effectively with guests and handle questions and concerns in a professional manner.
• Thank the guest sincerely for their business.

Preparing Food and Ingredients

• Prepping ingredients.
• Preparing waffle cones and waffle bowls.
• Making ice cream creations to order.
• Taking cake orders and building cakes.

Other Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe work environment, adhering to all established food and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of service areas and dining room.
• Team leaders assist with guiding other team members and supporting them in their duties.
• Following store opening and closing procedures.
• Proficient use of the POS system.
• Accuracy of the cash drawer.
• Able and willing to complete other restaurant functions such as cashier or cleaning, per management direction, or any other duties assigned by the general manager, assistant manager, or shift leader.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.30 per hour
