Responsibilities:
As a
Coax Splicer
,
you will be a part of a team of construction professionals who produce high-quality work while using specialized skills in splicing, activations, testing, troubleshooting, and more to make a difference. You will upgrade the existing plant, plant extensions, and new building construction. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you’re up for the challenge.
In addition, you will:
Splice, sweep and troubleshoot existing aerial and underground coaxial cable- Optimize new Nodes and splice in node splits to reduce capacity
- Utilize RF Meters and TDR (time-domain reflectometers)
- Read CATV telecommunication design and prints
- Work in outdoor utility construction sites
About You:
- You have a working knowledge of the insurance industry
- You have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn custom software
- You have excellent verbal, written, phone, and interpersonal skills
- You enjoy working in a fast-paced high volume work environment
- You have positive people skills and a pleasant demeanor
MOS Code 88N relates well to this position.
