> Responsible for basic services/ADLs such as bathing, grooming, feeding and checking patient vital signs.

> Assists patients to ensure their cleanliness, grooming, nourishment, rest, activity, elimination in a manner conducive to the patient's comfort & safety.

> Provides vital information on patient conditions to nurses

> Preserve the dignity & self respect of all patients at all times

> Practice confidentiality about the patients & nursing care activities

> Promptly answer call lights

> keep written notes of specific assignments & records pertinent information about the patients.
