We are looking for a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA to become a part of our facility’s compassionate care-giving team.

Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA Job Summary:
The CNA will interact directly with patients, providing comfort and transportation, monitoring their vital signs and assisting with daily living needs. We are searching for a dedicated, compassionate and energetic individual to be a vital link between our patients and the nurses and other facility staff.

• Provide direct Resident care as assigned.
• Report unusual problems or incidents to Charge Nurse.
• Observe and report residents and notes physical condition, attitude, reactions, or any unusual behavior.
• Ensure that the call light is always within reach of all residents and answer the calls promptly.
• Listen to Resident complaints and report problems to Charge Nurse.
• Perform basic nursing skills for Residents.
• Encourage residents in self-help measures in activities of daily living to promote maximum level of independence.
• Demonstrate proper use of safety measures, ensuring resident safety and security at all times.
• Participate in Restorative Nursing programs.
• Participate in Quality Assurance Improvement Programs.
• Transport or escort residents to various areas of the Home.

Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA Qualifications:

• Current CNA Certification for the State of Iowa.
• Current CPR Certification.
