Job Summary:
The SaaS DevOps Engineer will be an energetic person who will drive how the company deploys, verifies, and monitors our Solumina product and related services. Will work with internal stakeholders to define DevOps processes and shape the development culture. Also assists in the ongoing improvement of environment provisioning and deployment workflows. You will ensure that we have appropriate levels of monitoring and alerting set up for all applications across a mix of physical servers, private cloud and public cloud.
Essential Functions:
- Build a strong relationship with the development teams to understand the Solumina code, its dependencies, and the infrastructure on which it runs.
- Build and maintain systems that will monitor all aspects of Solumina and the infrastructure.
- Assist development team with deployment strategy and capacity planning across testing, development, and production environments.
- Experience building cloud-based infrastructure solutions in AWS and/or Azure with a strong governance model knowledge
- Work with the development team to deploy and manage tools that support automation, configuration management, and release management.
- Strong understanding and experience operating in anagile development environment.

- Proficiency in cross-platform scripting languages and building tools, like:

- Experience deploying and administering Continuous Integration tools such as:
- Jenkins
- Bamboo
- Gitlab CI/CD
- Experience with container management tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, etc.; Cloud implementations – EKS/AKS
- Sound knowledge of administrative best practices for application servers, database servers and 3rd party appliances.
- Understanding of basic Database function. Usage of CLI. Relational and NoSQL.
- Experience with automated testing solutions for unit testing, integration testing and system testing.
- Proficiency in at least 1 object-oriented programming language.
- Understanding strategies for providing high availability and security.
- Strong understanding and experience operating in an agile development environment.
Required Education/Experience:
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

Pay: $104,290.58 - $154,275.94 per year
