Job description

Responsibilities:

• Interviews patients and collects clinic, social, and health information essential for effective analysis.
• Analyzes, organizes, develops, and administers patient therapies with an emphasis on the patient's well-being and involvement.
• Revises and monitors the treatment plan, as well as deciding on the best course of action.
• When required, collaborates with hospitalization.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Clinic Social Work.
• A minimum of two years' experience in a related mental health field is required.
• Understanding of mental health law; Law 408.
• Must be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the laws that protect children, the elderly, people with special needs (Special Education), people with disabilities, mental health patients, family relationships, and legal and remedy options for compulsory admission to rehabilitation programs.
• Professional College Membership and a valid, unrestricted license to practice in the territory of Puerto Rico are required.
• DSMV knowledge, diagnosis, and pharmacotherapy
• Working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook at an intermediate level is required for personal computer experience.
