Job Description


As a critical member of the LAC Client Marketing team, LAC Manager for Partnerships and Merchant Marketing, will be responsible for coordinating the development of Marketing strategies and plans for regional merchants, and working with the different LAC markets and multifunctional teams to support the implementation of the Visa Marketing Service Model. This role will also be responsible for developing scalable solutions to our clients and creating new partnerships.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Lead Regional merchants and FinTechs marketing plans strategy and coordinate implementation across the LAC region
  • Lead Regional Partnerships strategy and drive the implementation of X-Selling and X Usage of the different partnerships assets for Clients across the region
  • Support the markets in the execution of the Visa Marketing Services Model, including existing and new clients and or contracts or RFPS.
  • Develop scalable solutions to be implemented across Multinational clients’ life cycle
  • Work with the LAC markets to provide marketing recommendations that maximize the usage of Visa assets
  • Coordinate and support the activation of Visa’s key sponsorship assets, FIFA, NFL and the Olympics across Multinational clients, and look for opportunities to better leverage these assets continuously
  • Ensure compliance and process correctness of marketing department adhere to Visa key controls and brand standards.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.


Qualifications


Basic Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business
  • Marketing planning and execution experience
  • Experience working in financial industry and or multinational companies
  • Experience with Sponsorships or Partnerships activation
  • Ability to structure and manage complex projects and processes with multiple stakeholders at both senior and junior levels
  • Strong persuasion and sales skills
  • Track record of developing and executing marketing strategies that delivered measurable business results.
  • Ability to present with impact in English and Spanish. Portuguese is a plus

Work Hours:
Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 111,200.00 to 144,500.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
