Caringplace of the Shoals is looking for a competent and compassionate individual to assist with the needs of Clients who are participating in an Adult Day Service center. Client Care Assistants provide or assist with basic care or support under the direction of an on-site Registered Nurse. Client Care Assistants perform duties such as, monitoring of health status, ambulating, transferring, assistance with meals, as well as, hygiene and toileting care in an Adult Day Service setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Clients who need help with standing, transferring, and ambulating
• Aids Clients in the use of any medical devices and equipment requried for their specific condition
• Demonstrates a personal interest in the health and well-being of others
• Is willing to place the needs of others first
• Is able to maintain Client confidentiality
• Possesses good time management skills

Requirements and Skills:

• Proven experience in direct Patient/Client care
• Committed to Health and Safety
• Well-organized and reliable
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Positive and compassionate attitude
• Strong ethics
• High school diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver's license

Job Type: Full-time
