• Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Sometimes using ladders (not taller than 4 feet) for dusting and washing furniture, walls, machines, and equipment; cleans ceilings and dust and polishes light fixtures.
• Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.
• Gathers and empties trash.
• Wipes and cleans tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas.
• Refills supplies.
• Keeps janitor’s closet neat and orderly and maintains equipment in good working order.
• Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients and co-workers.
• Complies with all company and client safety, security, and quality standards.
• Notifies managers concerning potential minor or major repairs.

• Must be authorized to work in the US.
