Job description

Church Nursery Attendant Needed every Sunday 9:00 am until Noon. First Aid certification is helpful but not mandatory prior to hiring. You will be required to submit to background screening and Child Protection Training.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work alongside parents/caregivers of children ages infant through 5 years of age;
• Interact with the children with age appropriate activities;
• Support all staff and engage in a good staff team;
• Uphold church standards by adhering to all policies and procedures;

• Enthusiasm for working with young children;
• Excellent communication skills, with children, colleagues, advisors and parents/care-givers;
• An interest in the care, learning and development of young children;
• A commitment to the provisions of high quality childcare;
• A positive approach to learning and gaining new skills through teamwork and training opportunities;
• Punctual, reliable and trustworthy;
• Patient and kind;

$12.00 per hour.
