Plant Engineer - Chemicals
Description:
This role will support a medium sized chemical plant that produces polymer additives. These specialty chemicals are mixed & blended powders that go into multiple different products within the automotive and sports industry.
This site is not PSM regulated but does operate and use all guidelines of a plant that does.
The focus of this role will be overseeing the equipment on site - mixing, blending, drying, powder conveying. Completing equipment replacement/upgrades & increasing capacity. Following safety procedures, repairing, troubleshooting, and modifying plant facilities & equipment, this role will supervise 2 maintenance technicians.
Minimum Requirements:
- B.S. Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- 4+ years of manufacturing industry experience out of chemicals
- Should have hands on predictive maintenance required
- Should have some supervision & leadership experience
- Experience with one of the following - reactors, grinders, heat exchangers, pumps, valves
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
