Job description
The Chef Concierge is responsible for overseeing the Wynn and Encore Concierge Department, inspiring and leading Staff to deliver Wynn Service standards consistently and ensure our guest expectations are exceeded.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversees daily operations in the Concierge Department.
- Ensures the Wynn standards are maintained by the concierge staff.
- Responsible for managing all levels of staff including Assistant Chef Concierge, Assistant Managers and line level employees.
- Provides clear direction, establishes goals and appropriate time frames, manages overall financial performance, monitors progress to achieve desired results.
- Must have an understanding of key drivers of revenue growth, profitability and quality performance.
- Must focus on key drivers of employee engagement and guest satisfaction.
- Consults regularly with all levels of management within the company to provide constructive feedback to other departments to help enhance the guest experience.
- Coordinates with all levels of management to maintain guest service standards and partnership in event completion.
- Maintain current and establish new relationships with vendors to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Ensures Staff is equipped with all tools, systems and training to serve the guests’ needs.
- Responsible for addressing guest issues.
- Responsible for conducting employee evaluations, coaching and counseling.
- Requires a minimum of 7 years of Sr. Concierge leadership experience.
- Requires an in-depth knowledge of all services and attractions at WynnEncore and the Las Vegas area.
- Preferred membership in the Les Clefs d’Or
- Proven experience in managing multiple priorities simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
- Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Language skills additional to English preferred.
- Candidate should possess feedback skills at all levels; push back, challenge status quo in and out of the office and strong motivational feedback.
- Must have problem negotiation, problem solving & decision making skills.
- Candidate must have at least 2 years of experience with planning and project management.
- Must possess outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills, as well as excellent attention to detail.
- Must be able to work proficiently with deadlines and disciplined to work without constant guidance and supervision.
- Must be available to work all shifts.
- Candidate must be able to work efficiently within a team environment.
- Must possess a positive, “whatever it takes” attitude.
- Candidate must be well groomed and professional.
- Must have an open mind and willingness to learn new processes, concepts, and ways of approaching analysis.
- Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
