The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• One year experience as a veterinary technician in outpatient services
• Graduation from a program in veterinary technology, or expected graduation within six months of hire
• Certification as Veterinary Technician
• Experience in supporting surgical and dental procedures and protocols
• Proactive behaviors for ensuring efficient and friendly service to clients and team members
• A desire to learn, grow, and have fun!

Essential Job Functions:

• Maintain and utilize knowledge of preventative healthcare recommendations
• Communicate with and educate owners from check-in to check-out
• Assist veterinarian in medical/surgical procedures using proper restraint & techniques
• Monitor anesthesia under the direction of a veterinarian
• Administer treatments and injections per DVM directions
• Update and maintain accurate patient medical records
• Work collaboratively and proactively across all departments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
