Job description
We are looking for counselors to work for one of our clients, an addiction treatment center, located in Eastern Long Island.
This is a permanent, full-time job with benefits. Flexible schedule, 40 hrs per week (one Saturday per month required).
In this role you would be responsible for day-to-day psychotherapy and case management requirements of a licensed inpatient medically supervised stabilization and withdrawal program, rehabilitation program and reintegration program.
Required Qualifications
- Valid License as counselor or related-fields (CASAC, CASAC-T, MSW and/or MHC) in the State of New York.
- A bachelors degree from an accredited college and one year (1) of experience performing assessment and/or treatment of drug or alcohol addiction care; OR a high school diploma/equivalent and two years (2) of experience performing assessment and/or treatment of drug or alcohol addiction care.
- BLS required; ACLS preferred- but must be obtained within one year (1) of employment.
- Familiarity with all relevant healthcare standards: OASAS, ASAM, JCAHO, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.21 - $29.80 per hour
