Description of Role:

Harmony Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Midwife responsible for providing a complete range of women's health services to patients from adolescence through menopause. Additionally, this position will assist with patient births in our Baby Buddies Birthing Center, which provides options for expecting families not found in traditional hospital settings like water births and doulas.

Essential Functions:

• Provide a wide range of services and care for expecting mothers and women including primary care, preconception care, gynecologic and family planning services, prenatal examinations
• Caring for women during labor and delivery and continuously providing care for the newborn during the first 28 days of life
• Counseling and educating male and female patients on contraceptives, reproductive health, and family planning
• Educating and facilitating STD/STI testing and treatment on expecting parents
• Performing preventative health screenings and tests
• Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests, and prescribing treatments
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Current California Nurse Midwife License (Required)
• Master's Degree in Nurse-Midwifery
• Bilingual Skills (Preferred)
• Two (2) years' experience providing clinical services

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $135,200.00 - $156,000.00 per year

• Marysville, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
