Crown Health is currently accepting applications for clinically licensed medical assistants to work at Tapp Medical Clinic, located in Bowling Green, KY. This is a direct hire opportunity available immediately, paying $17 per hour for the first shift, scheduled from 8 am to 5 pm. The successful candidate will enjoy the following benefits:

• Working with a small local team
• Seeing approximately 30 patients a day
• Having an hour's lunch break

As a CCMA, you will report directly to the main assistant at the medical practice and work with a small team of 10 or less, including a doctor.

As a CCMA, you can expect to:

• Rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, patient history, and reason for seeking care
• Processing telephone messages and following prescription refill procedures
• Maintaining patient records' confidentiality
• Recording patient charges and lab charges for the billing department
• Assisting the provider with patient education, including results of lab and x-ray reports, diet and exercise, and laboratory and radiology preparation

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responding appropriately to urgent/emergent situations per protocols
• Maintaining work area, exam rooms, supplies, medications, and immunizations
• Performing basic triage per specific office protocol procedures
• Maintaining professional appearance and personal conduct at all times
• Adhering to employer work practices and coping with typical job stress
• Documenting work processes as required
• Performing other duties as assigned
• There are three different positions described: Triage/MA, Referral Coordinator/MA, and Scribe/MA, each with specific responsibilities

Serious candidates will have the following experience, skills, or education:

• Must be certified and passed KY State exam
• Team player
• Good communication skills
• Interest in mid management of clinical staff
• Bilingual is needed but not required.
• Clean background
• Can have vaccines you are comfortable with; it is a medical office.
