RobertsOxygen a leading distributor of industrial, medical, and specialty gases and related equipment has the Driver position for you. We are actively seeking a dedicated and committed Distribution and CO2 Driver for our Gaithersburg, MD location.

The ideal Distribution and CO2 Driver candidate will have proven experience providing timely, accurate, and safe deliveries including mini-bulk CO2, cylinders and hard goods. Responsibilities and requirement may include but are not limited to:
- Class A or B CDL with hazmat, tanker and air brake endorsements.
- Safely operate company truck and equipment.
- Read maps and selects best route to reach address delivery location.
- Operate CO2 filling and storage equipment as needed to provide product and service to mini-bulk CO2 customers.
- Perform installations and service calls on CO2 mini-bulk tanks and related systems.
- Need to do cylinder and branch store deliveries.
- Experience and or ability to learn how to work with power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability and comfort to occasionally work at elevated heights.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience with construction, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration appliance or other related field preferred.
- Periodic on-call customer service responsibilities.
- Available to cover after hours, weekend, holiday, and on call work as business requires.
- Occasional cylinder filling and assisting with plant operations.
- Irregular schedule periods may be required for adequate customer service; may be required to service newly establish customers and market until position and market firmly established (e.g., may need to work weekend days instead of weekdays).
- Non-sedentary work with frequent standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, overhead reaching and core body twisting and bending.
- Handle, maneuver, load, and organize high pressure and cryogenic cylinders and palletized hard goods on trucks and trailers.
- Ability to lift 100 pounds with repetitive physical handling and/or irregular shaped objects.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures as well as local, state and federal regulations and laws.
- Represent the company and proactively build customer relationships through excellent and appropriate customer interactions.
- High school education or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in a cylinder distribution or industry related operation preferred.
- Excellent driving record and if selected, ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
