What Is a Quick Coupling?

Parker's Quick Coupling Division is the largest manufacturer of quick couplings in the world. A quick coupling is used to provide a fast, make-or-break connection of fluid or gas transfer lines. Our Grantsburg plant provides critical equipment for many different industries including Agriculture, Construction, and Fire & Rescue teams.

Position Summary

Position Summary
Our Quick Coupling Division in Grantsburg is looking for new Castings Coupling Assembler team members to help keep the world moving. You will use your hands and machines to build Parker couplings in a safe and sustainable manner.

Responsibilities

Aspects of Your Work

• Assemble couplers, castings and plates.
• Verify functionality of assembly.
• Complete necessary quality checks.
• Complete necessary paperwork.
• Cross training in multi-coupler area.
• Keep records of production quantities.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Understand part numbers and be able to read them.
• Detail oriented. Good judgment to comply with instructions and standard procedures, methods or practices.

Physical Requirements

• Continuously lifting and moving light weight material (1-25 lbs.)
• Frequently lifting and moving average weight material (25-35 lbs.)
• Occasional lifting and moving average weight material up to 40 pounds.
• Standing is required for this position.
