Job description

The CAREGIVER/HOME CARE/PERSONAL ASSISTANT is responsible for assisting older adults with activities of daily living and personal care that help them remain safely and independently in their home. The hours are typically Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM with the ability to work evenings and/or weekends, as needed. Non-exempt position is 40 hours per week with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour.

QUALIFICATIONS

•Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
•Previous experience working with older adults, or past caregiver or home care experience preferred
•Must be compassionate in their dealings with older adults, particularly those with memory, hearing, or vision impairments
•Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required
•The ability to work independently with minimal supervision is a must
