Keystone Surveying and Mapping is looking to fill an opening for the position of CAD Technician.

Ideal candidates may be well seasoned with experience or a recent grad who is new in the field.

This position is located in our Wexford ,Pennsylvania office.

This person will be responsible for developing engineering construction plans utilizing AutoCAD software. They will support engineers and design technicians in the creation of natural gas pipeline projects. Must operate CAD system with minimal assistance to produce 2D drawings and maps based on standards, specifications and client needs. Depending on experience level, this person may:

• Create base maps for design preparation
• Create design layouts of utility facilities including plans, details, cross sections and material lists.
• Perform QA/QC on all project work

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Must have a proficient understanding and working ability in AutoCAD
• Must be able to operate CAD system with minimal assistance to produce 2D drawings & maps
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Word One
• Must have the ability to organize and manage multiple projects and to work independently with little supervision

Education requirement: Minimum will be an Associates Degree or equivalent from a college or technical school

Pay will be commensurate with experience. Range is $23.00 per hour to $35.00 per hour.

Candidate will be required to provide proof of ability to work in the US and must be able to pass as standard criminal background check along with work history and education verification check. Candidate will also be required to pass a standard drug screen.
