JBI Interiors Company is currently hiring for a full-time Cabinet Assembler to build pre-machined cabinets in the Chicopee, MA area. This carpenter position earns a competitive wage of $17 - $20 per hour, depending on experience.

DAY-TO-DAY

This manufacturing carpentry position is full-time and typically works 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM with some overtime as necessary.

In this carpenter position, you play a vital role in the operations of our company. Always attentive to detail, you review drawings and directions for assembly. Skillfully, you assemble cabinets using hand tools. You build and install doors and drawers. Additionally, you install hardware, hinges, catches, and knobs. You insert screws or dowels in predrilled holes and fasten them with a screwdriver, glue, and clamps. When shipments of parts come in, you inspect them and identify any missing or damaged components. As you assemble cabinets, you work to improve your process. You love using your carpentry skills each day!

REQUIREMENTS FOR A CABINET ASSEMBLER

• Experience using small hand woodworking tools and power tools
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position such as standing for long periods of time, working in small spaces, and lifting up to 100 lbs.
