Job Purpose
National Grid is hiring a Business Testing Analyst (Advanced Metering Infrastructure, UAT, and Regression Testing) for our Customer Billing Accounts Department. In this critical role you will support the coordination of business acceptance criteria validation (e.g. UAT business testing) within the AMI program using Agile methodology.
The Analyst will be responsible for supporting the business testing that must be completed prior to each release for the AMI program and will work closely with the business to ensure successful execution of testing.
Key Accountabilities
- Coordinate business UAT and regression testing efforts in alignment with AMI Product Teams, Enabling Teams, IT Teams, and Business Stakeholders
- Develop high level test procedures for Business SMEs to follow during testing
- Create and maintain test plans that align to each Program Increment
- Support defect tracking and resolutions
- Manage and track work using Jira and Jira Align
- Identify risks and gaps in testing and support resolution of those items
- Support data preparation in anticipation of execution of testing
Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required
- Good leadership skills and a tracking record of ability to influence business or colleagues.
- Excellent inter-personal skills including strong written and verbal communication ability.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of practical experience with UAT and regression testing
- Experience with Agile methodology a plus
- Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across organizations
- Experience and understanding of concepts related to larger system implementation efforts, including business process design and business testing. Agile experience is highly valued
- Experience interacting with 3rd party vendors from an operational perspective
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to resolve issues both independently and collaboratively

Salary
$84,000 - $100,00 a year - NYC. Salary ranges vary based on geographic location
