Business Intelligence Analyst
Job description
We are recruiting a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Hospital Division- Finance & Accounting team in Louisville, Kentucky.
Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Analyst with a strategic viewpoint and can grow as we increase our data warehouse and business intelligence capabilities. The Business Intelligence Analyst will work with multiple facets of the operation, requiring an understanding of business objectives from multiple viewpoints.
Essential Functions:
- Provide reports through office applications to improve business processes.
- Communicate between upper management and the IT department.
- Analyze data to provide critical information to management.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.).
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with analytical techniques used for data analysis and exploration.
- Experience using SQL and other query builder tools for analysis including collecting, assembling, cleansing, and formatting data, and validation of results.
- Experience using visualization techniques for presenting data and analysis; knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Business Warehouse, Microsoft Power BI, or similar products such as MicroStrategy or Tableau is a plus.
- Experience with effectively writing, presenting, and communicating research results to other teams in a matrixed environment.
- Healthcare industry experience a plus.
- Approximate percent of time required to travel: 10% (0-100%)

- Degree in computer science, statistics, business studies, or related field and experience in data analysis, intelligence and visualization.
