S&P Global Market IntelligenceThe Role: Business Development Representative
The Team: ChartIQ part of S&P Global Market Intelligence is a data visualization and charting solution that allows you to bring any dataset to life with interactive graphic displays designed for the financial professional. The focus of this role is to generate new business opportunities focusing on the ChartIQ charting library. You will work alongside the commercial, marketing and product team.
The Impact: You will own the top of funnel and will focus on prospecting, qualifying, generating, and scheduling qualified meetings for our Account Executives and be an essential part of our overall growth. This is an opportunity to grow and work in the Capital Markets and Fintech space.

Responsibilities:
Thorough and effective follow-up with leads and documenting activities and notes in our CRM / Sales Engagement tool
Maintain and utilize a cadence of multi-channel outreach consisting of email, calls, & social media
Work closely with the marketing and sales team around messaging, content, and lead generation
Proactively report on learnings and valuable feedback to the product team to improve the product and prioritize the right projects
Report on your outreach strategies, messaging and provide feedback and new ideas to continue to improve and grow the business development foundation
What We’re Looking For:
1-3+ years of business/sales development or inside sales experience (experience in Fintech or SaaS is a plus but not required)
A proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quota
Experience with outbound prospecting
Experience using tools like Salesforce, SalesLoft, LinkedIn, and ZoomInfo
Results-driven and data-driven leading to business outcomes
Coachable and a can-do attitude to continue to grow and learn
Understands the sales process of qualification and converting leads into SQLs
Grade/Level ( relevant for internal applicants only ): 9

Compensation/Benefits Information (This section is only applicable to US Candidates):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role.
