Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for cultivating relationships and building awareness within the CBP service area that results in direct program referrals. Serving as a liaison between the community and CBP, the Business Development Manager will execute strategies, including educating the public, care partners, and other referral sources about the CBP program, organizing community outreach and promotional activities, and guiding interested elders to the intake process.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead execution of community outreach programs to build awareness, educate, and promote Cherry Blossom PACE center-based and personalized in-home care, spanning clinical, behavioral, and social services.
- Serve as a key contributor to the development of marketing strategies and business development programs.
- Support the department director in planning and directing all advertising, public relations, and promotional campaigns and strategies for the PACE program.
- Identify and participate in speaking engagement opportunities.
- Partner with members from an interdisciplinary care team and community and local government organizations to expand the referral source network within the service area.
- Conduct outreach efforts to physicians, social workers, hospital discharge planners, and geriatric care managers in hospitals, post-acute facilities, and nursing facilities.
- Engage in the intake process, in collaboration with the PACE enrollment team, to support potential participants to ensure that monthly enrollment targets are met.
- Serve as the main point of contact for prospective families, the public, and referral sources regarding inquiries related to center operations and programs.
- Maintain accurate and relevant reporting, data, and planning systems.
- Assist with development, oversight, implementation, and adherence to policies, procedures, and standards for marketing and community engagement activities, including PACE/CMS Marketing guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrated history of achieving/exceeding sales goals within a designated market with prior experience building out new marketing programs and strategies.
- Exceptional public speaking, communication, and customer service skills.
- Energetic, well-organized, dependable, flexible, and resourceful. Must be a self-starter who can work well independently and with a team.
- Ability to work effectively with internal team members and external partners, including the elderly population, public and private agencies, governmental officials, providers of services, and other healthcare professionals.
- Working knowledge of desktop application software related to the position.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Health Care Administration, related field, or equivalent healthcare sales experience in place of a degree.
- Must have at least 3-5 years of sales and marketing experience in a healthcare delivery setting. Prior experience in a managed care environment, working with a frail or elderly population, is strongly preferred.
- Understanding of regulated marketing requirements is a plus.

- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
- Sits, stands, bends, lifts, and move intermittently during working hours.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year
