Hyundai-Mobis Parts Miami (MPMI), LLC, a subsidiary of Hyundai MOBIS, is a Tier 1 OEM genuine parts and accessories supplier to Hyundai, Genesis and Kia distributors throughout the South American, Central American, and Caribbean markets. We are currently seeking a Marketing Data Analyst to join our Miami, FL team.

Key Proficiencies Include:

Heavy analytical skills: raw data analysis, cost analysis, sales planning, sales forecasting, financial report creation, budget management, and budget creation

Advanced presentation skills: Power Point, Power BI, public speaking, trade show representation

Brand-Protection and proprietary property infringement

Purchase order processing, tracking backorders, order follow-up

Above average skills in: MS Power Point, Power BI creation and public presentation experience

Previous Auto-Parts distribution & sales experience is a BIG PLUS

SUMMARY:

This position will develop and implement effective business strategies to improve dealership parts sales, accessory sales, inventory efficiency, and customer-facing business processes in collaboration with facing OE region Management and field personnel in the Latin American and Caribbean markets throughout the entire product portfolio and establish an adequate understanding of customer requirements, competitive environment, and product. This position requires a high level of independence to achieve the assigned goals and objectives within the scope of existing policies and procedures. This must be accomplished in collaboration and coordination with OE region Management and MPMI internal departments. This position will also be responsible for other data analysis and reporting as required.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential Functions:

  • Brand Protection training, follow cases, distributors’ communication, supplier invoices, etc.
  • Research and prepare presentations on the critical customer, marketing trends, and needs
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries ACCY & Brand Protection issues.
  • Communicating with customers through various channels, such as MS-Teams, Zoom, etc.
  • Process accessory orders, and manage the process of POs and BOs
  • Price changes on existing parts during the year
  • Support pricing structure for newly launched models, as well as the planning process
  • Develop and issued newsletters, memos on a quarterly basis
  • Prepare economic reports on a quarterly basis
  • Track, follow-up, and monitor full-cycle of POs and BOs
  • Perform market analysis and forecasting on competitive price position, price lead, product sales, performance and market, and pricing trends
  • Prepared Aftermarket Parts & Accessories KPI analysis & reporting monthly
  • Based on market research and benchmarking with other OEM’s develop price proposals to maximize MPMI profitability, while maintaining competitive market pricing
  • Implement proposed prices after approval
  • Success Tracking & Reporting (analyze and understand price change impact price elasticity, and price lead based on Competitive Pricing)
  • Preparation and submission of projects approval requests (PUMIs)
  • Build pricing rules for segments/product groups
  • Reporting and presentation to management
  • Review and input distributor orders, forms, applications, and requests in the system and coordinate logistics globally with HQ and other Mobis divisions
  • Build a positive working relationship with distributors and suppliers
  • Support MPMI initiatives such as Ecommerce or On-Line Parts Sales

Nonessential Functions

  • Participate and/or lead other projects and responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing, price analysis, brand protection, and Accessories.
  • Experience in spare parts promotion is a plus

Skills

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, ACESS, Teams, and PowerPoint
  • Strong interest and knowledge of the automotive parts industry preferred
  • Knowledge of pricing methods, tools, and strategies
  • Awareness of pricing sensitivities and influencing factors
  • Ability to thoroughly analyze data, develop/recommend strategies and prepare business cases
  • Able to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals and professional journals
  • Comfortable with communicating at all levels of the organization internally as well with external clients
  • Adaptable to work in cross-functional and international teams
  • Knowledge of online tools, such as communication applications, trading sites, and data mine sites
  • The candidate must be able to interpret, resolve and disseminate information related to marketing and accessories
  • Project Management experience
  • Excellent business acumen
  • Driven to meet and exceed internal & external customer’s expectations
  • E-Commerce experience is a plus
  • Language skills required to be fluent in Spanish and English, Portuguese is a plus

PHYSICAL DEMAND

  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50%.
  • This position is in-person, in-office M-F. There is no option for remote work or hybrid-remote work schedule.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally 25-30%
