Bookkeeper
Job description
Viva Burrito's growing business needs a dedicated Bookkeeper to handle the financial records, including payroll and billing. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, highly organized, mature and detail oriented. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits and a team of friendly staff members.
Responsibilities:
Job Duties:
- Manage accounts by processing transactions, payments, and records using computers and software
- Prepare financial statements, journal entries, and taxes
- Perform payroll duties and create budgets
- Record transactions such as payments, deposits, and withdrawals
- Communicate financial information to auditors and third parties
- Manage vendor relations and invoices
- Provide administrative assistance when necessary
Requirements:
- Associate degree in accounting, business administration, or equivalent business experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in bookkeeping
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel), Quickbooks Online, and Restaurant 365
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Responsible, honest, reliable, punctual, and motivated
- Business attire required
