Job description
Generations at Rock Island, is seeking a friendly, customer-service person to work in our Bistro. Must be good at keeping track of inventory, ordering and stocking the Bistrol, serving food and drinks to our residents, employees and visitors. Cashier experience required.
This position is full-time, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Pay is $13.00 per hour and includes benefits.
Generations at Rock Island is a 24/7 skilled nursing facility, conveniently located in Rock Island. Our goal is to provide excellent care for our residents, and to create a welcoming, friendly environment to all who work or visit there.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the Bistro
- Sell and serve food items, snacks, drinks etc.
- Keep track of Inventory; stocking and ordering supplies and food items
Job Requirements are:
- Must be an out-going, friendly customer service focused person
- Have some experience with maintaining inventory, ordering and stocking supplies
- Cashier experience
- Punctual and reliable
- Must be willing to undergo a background check, including fingerprinting if necessary
- Covid vaccinated and willing to have an annual flu shot
