Our Mission Statement
We are a pregnancy care medical center that exists to educate and empower individuals and their families to make life affirming choices.
Our Counseling Philosophy
The focus of Chester County Connect Care (CCCC) is to minister to the woman regarding her pregnancy, and to provide whatever services are necessary assist her, to glorify God, and to be a light and beacon to the community.
- Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are God’s truth for believer and unbeliever alike. Foundational truths are the only basis upon which counseling can be built.
- Man is created in the image of God and is separated from God by virtue of a fallen nature. In this sinful condition, man is without hope apart from faith in Christ.
- God is sovereign in every area of life, and provides wisdom and guidance through His Word, and the Holy Spirit, for those He calls to minister in His name.
- Because all true counseling is based on the truth found in Scripture, the counselor must be a dedicated Christian, rooted and grounded in the Word. The counselor must also be one who speaks the truth in love.
- One of the main goals of counseling the unbeliever is to present the Gospel and its hope for a truly changed life. Even when a woman does not come immediately to faith in Christ, we shall continue to work with her, and help her reach sound decisions concerning her life and her body. We shall continue providing physical and spiritual help and assistance as is appropriate.
- We use the local church as the primary source of spiritual training and when available, ask them to be responsible for the overseeing of the long-term spiritual needs of the one being counseled.
The following challenges in counseling under the oversight of the Staff/Volunteer Supervisor, and at the discretion of the Director should be referred:
- Severe Anger
- Any Abusive Situation
- Incest
- Suicidal Tendency
- Drug/ Alcohol
- Depression
- Bitterness
- Assault
- Sexual Problem
Our Statement of Faith
- We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible Word of God.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
- We believe that there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Matthew 28:19 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
- We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His
miracles. We believe in Christ's vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodilyresurrection, and His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in powerand glory.Philippians 2:6-11 “Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.”
- We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful men and women, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential, and that this salvation is received through faith in Jesus Christ alone, as
Savior and Lord and not as a result of good works although good works are an outward sign ofsalvation.John 3:3-5 “Jesus replied, Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again. How can someone be born when they are old? Nicodemus asked. Surely, they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!Jesus answered, Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.”
Ephesians 2:8-10 “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
- We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to
live a godly life and to perform good works.
John 14:16-18 “I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.”
- We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved will continue after death to the resurrection of life and they that are without Christ, unto the resurrection of damnation.
Acts 24:15 “And I have the same hope in God as these men themselves have, that there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked.”
- We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 4:1-4 “As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called.”
- We believe that all life from conception is created by God and is, therefore, sacred and to be protected.
Psalm 139:13-15“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.”
- We believe that we pray in the name of Jesus Christ as He sits on the right hand of God interceding for us.
Romans 8:33-34 “Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.”
Hebrews 4:14-16 “Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”
10. We believe the term “marriage” has only one meaning and that is marriage sanctioned by God which joins one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture.
Genesis 2:24 “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.”
Have you come to the place in your spiritual life where you can say you know for certain, if you were to die today you would go to heaven?
Why?
Can you describe your relationship/walk with the Lord? (Please use the back if necessary.)
*I have read, understand, and agree with the above Mission Statement, Counseling Philosophy, and Statement of Faith.
